how long do you have your hamster out each day?

is there a maximum about you should??

I give my syrian 10 mins in ball and 20 mins of runing free on the floor, cuddles and treats xx

oooooohhhh..... ummmmm is 1.5 hours in the ball and then 1.5 hours playtime with you on the sofa too much?? :/

I give mine 20-30 mins in their balls and about 20mins cuddles,treats,handling but I do get them all out countless times during the day (they hear my big gob and always come and stand near their doors/cage openings for snuggles) lol
I also give Rambo 10 mins in his playground daily, the bottom is covered with sandpaper to help file his claws down xxx

I thought 20 mins was the limit.

snowy is a nightmare, whenever i put her back she sits waiting to come out again lol then i feel all guilty because i know while i am asleep she is up, so i now have her in her ball again. is there a maximum amount of time you should have them in it a day?

yeah i get her out and put her back in her cage for a nibble and a drink and then she wants out again....

ummmm whats wrong with 1.5 hours??

they spend all night on a wheel dont they?? whats the difference??

so should i only be having her out for 30mins a day?

I honestly thought that would be too long in the ball weather they sleep all day or not. No give her as much out time as you can ofcourse but like i said i thought 1.5 hours was to long is it not ?. Id say 20 mins in the ball buts thats just me

I give Taylor 15 minutes maximum in the ball, to avoid him getting stressed or overheated. He also gets time either in the playpen or playing in the armchairs with me and my husband. In all, he's usually out of the cage for at least an hour.
