An Idea

Just had a thought.... I know I don't get them often and this one didn't hurt.

I was looking at my son's hamster cage this morning and noticed the side of the tray is a nice flat plast surface. I do stickers/decals for motorbikes and other things and thought " wouldn't it look cool having the hamsters name on the side".

So over the weekend I'm going to see if I can do some hamster "foot prints" as well. In fact I have had a few more ideas just come to me.

Anybody intersted if I did something?if so let me know here, so I can gauge interst.

I'll do one for my sons cage and post it up here. Also it doesn't have to go on the cage the can be stuck any where.

I`ve seen this done on children`s cages and it looks nice. Just make sure they are easily removed though incase you get another hamster in the future and the old hamster`s name is stuck or painted on and you can`t remove it! I like the paw-print idea though.

I cut out letters from thin cardboard and blu-tacked it to the side of Darla's cage Easy to do, easy to remove, etc

I could see small decal name stickers being used on hamster houses. My syrian sleeps in an upturned shoe box (with the lid removed!) and I drew a little flower on the side and wrote "Boris Lives Here" with a little cottage sign! I`m sure he would love a decal with his name on though!

That is on idea. you can stick them any where.

RascingHamster, they come off easily.

Im sure ive seen pretty stickers on the bases of hamster cages for sale by a well known company but i cant think who?

I love the idea..I'd have something like that....even when the hammie was no longer with us...I'd keep as a momento.xxx
