Question sleepy?

It seems really odd, but my hamster (Rhubarb) just about wakes up (and is still sleepy) by 8 o'clock pm. Which is my bedtime - . And goes to bed about 7 o'clock am. - Is this normal for a hammy of around 11 - 12 weeks old?
plz let me know
thnx

My hammy wakes up at about 10.15pm, grabs his food and then right back to bed. I've never yet found him awake in the morning. I just have to grab my chance to play with him when I can. He's 16 months old and has never been any different.

ohh.... phew! So I am not the only one! - it must be tough for you - 10.15pm! at least you would get an (almost) quiet evening so if you went to bed early then you would not have the noise they make -

My robos get up at 3am and stay up until 7am, my Syrian is 10pm until late my others just get up randomly in the day and night its typical hamster behaviour and nothing to worry about I enjoy the fact they all get up at different times though, it makes handling and play time easier. Hams are crepuscular meaning that they are most active in the twilight hours and not so much in the day light (dwarfs seem to be the exception) it's one of the reasons why they don't make good 'kids pets'

Ps Custard, I just noticed you live literally up the road from me!
