Re: can anyone identify these?
thanks all, don't worry erin, i thought it was a duna too, glad i now know what i'm getting I'm glad i won too, not looking forward to the drive, but the ham to be is worth it and now we have cages and travel cages for pepper and up to 2 more hams
also while your all here, does anyone know the bar spacing on the gabber rex or lux? i.e would they need meshing for dwarfs?

Re: can anyone identify these?
Gabber rex (and I'm assuming lux) don't need meshing I don't think, have my boy pillow and had his sister before him in a gabber rex, really nice cage (although a bit shorter than a duna multy which was a bit annoying, but same height as a mini duna)
Lid is sliding with a small door in the centre if you're wondering, bit annoying for an untame hamster, so something to consider.
Great price for all those cages though

I was watching the auction too, you got a good price My baby Beau escaped from her Montagna ( gabber one or the other) by sliding her roof lid so have books on it till i get her other cage.

Re: can anyone identify these?
Yeh top one is def not a duna. Although dunno if it's a lux either as the plastic bit inside looks like it came with it and that's not the usual lux fitting. Anyway, good haul!!

Re: can anyone identify these?
I though it wasn' the usual lux fitting either, but the base looks just like one - I thought it was maybe an old version of the shelf

Re: can anyone identify these?
Well then I'm guessing I'll have a gabber rex, a rody, and a surprise alongslide the terrible prison cage
Managed to convince him for 2 individual dwarfs, then he changed his mind to 1 more cos of travelling home 2 my family every few months, then last night in bed he asked me if I realised 3 hams was enough lol, so I'm not sure.
Either way I'll rescue one and then see what happens yay

Re: can anyone identify these?
I once asked my dad if I could get another hamster and he said 'no, nooo, six is enough!!' I responded with 'that's alright, I've only got 4 and I just wanted a pair of robos anyway!'
maybe it was a similar mistake for your OH, but one you could cash in on
I think 3 is the maximum you can easily travel with, you can fit two mini dunas and a combi 1 on the back seat of a car, so I figure 3 kinda works
