I thought so! Sooo cute! I love the way he went along the line of tips and just took the heads off, that was hilarious. It's really nice finding things they really like that are good for them!!!

Now to resist the temptation to give him any more just yet!

Lydia and Artie.

So far, my Darla has refused to eat pepper, carrot and broccoli. She likes raisins and apple, though... *sigh* at least Robos are not massively prone to diabetes like other hamster species

He's ridiculously cute!

I am hoping Artie doesn't get too much bigger. Gosh, I think one of my next things to do will be to get him some scales.

Hahaha. You're lucky I think that she's not massively prone to diabetes! I am treating Artie as if he is super prone to diabetes, so no high sugar things for him. I even threw away a log I had got for him originally that was made of some sort of weird alfalfa/honey combination. Bleugh. Sounds gross. He didn't seem enclined to chew on it anyway.

Artie is the biggest fan of mealworms, and also a fan of millet spray. I haven't tried other 'treats' with him yet. I swapped his diet though, to Silver's mix, and he has such a love for it that I feel like I am treating him every time I put it out. He's going to end up all chunky!

Lydia and Artie.

He's a little bundle of cuteness. You can't replace that first moment when you realise they know who you are and start trusting you. Tne bond between us and someone so tiny is amazing.

Krista, have you tried popcorn? My dwarves would stand on their heads for it.
