I'm getting a hamster again after many years!

Well I've not had a syrian hammy for years - use to have lots in my childhood/teens then had a long break when we had our dog. I've been accepted to have a rescue syrian from a fairly local RSPCA vol group

So I shall need to read all these threads now to get sorted with a cage, wheel etc... I have got a ZZ1 cage but I use that for my elderly guinea in the car sometimes so was thinking of getting a Cambridge cage, I'd love a Heaven one but can't fit that in my bedroom.

The ZZ would fit under my guinea cage as that's on a stand or I might move my Chinese hammy round to get the ZZ on a chest of drawers - my room is getting rather crowded with cages!

My main choice now is which of 4 boys to choose from - all same unwanted litter and all very cute!

How do I decide between these guys?!!!

I can only fit one in my room as I already have my Chinese hammy and a guinea pig in there, otherwise I'd be wanting them all! I also have 2 other guineas and a rabbit so think I'm at my max.

There were 5 brothers and 1 girl who came in and the female has had a litter so there will be more cute hammys to rehome soon!

They are all so cute, can't decide but it's down to Brian, Horatio or Wilfred - was just Horatio and Wilfred until I saw Brian has been added tonight!

Yes they are pretty local as in Walsall but that to me is miles away as I don't drive so am waiting on a hammy train or I believe some are in Birmingham so might be able to go train/bus to collect.

Erm I best not mention that no they have not all found homes and there are baby ones who will be ready in 6 weeks or so

It will be fab to have a syrian hammy here, think someone has said on facebook they will have Brian so I'm thinking it's between Horatio and Wilfred for me now but how do I decide between those two!!!

Might take a few weeks to sort transport - can't do anything next weekend as it's my birthday so out all the time but weekend after I hope it's mild weather if I do need to go by train/bus.

Such a hard choice! I think Wilfred looks like he has cheeky glint in his eye though and I love his colour.
