Looks like I shall be getting Wilfred after work Thursday.

It's going to be a case of me getting the train after work to half way to Birmingham and meeting him at a train station and bringing him back on the rush hour train! Very nice offer of the rescue staff to bring him to the station for me half way.

Typically I'm out from work tomorrow which I can't change as last chance to see a friend whos emigrating to Oz Sat! Don't know when I'll mesh the cage as got to see if Parents can help me by getting some tomorrow - seriously hope it's easy to mesh a ZZ1 as won't have much time - if not I'll have to use a smaller cage until I get the ZZ sorted. Me and DIY skills do not go together!

Won't be thurs now - the RSPCA vol staff who have him think it's easier to drive him over now as the route to the station is basically grid lock traffic in the rush hour. Waiting to sort out an eve now or maybe fri afternoon at work. If not might have to look at next week.
Still stressing I've no mesh - pain not driving as can't get to B&Q places and parents can't go at mo.

Wilfred is now settled in - he arrived at my workplace this afternoon and is such a cuddly, plushy, friendly boy, love him to bits!

He is in a smaller temp cage until I manage to track down some mesh to do the zoozone - will get some toys tomorrow as all my spare hammy stuff is not big enough he is a chunky hammy. Should find some toys on the big pet shop stall in Birmingham market if not can go to the garden centre Sunday.

I'm longing to see him settled in the ZZcage as he will love the space.

He enjoyed a run round on the landing tonight - if I shut all the doors and block off the stairs it's fab for him for an exercise area!

Wow it's great having a syrian hammy again after a 20 or so year break

Afraid photos at first will be poor quality as my good camera is off for repair and could be weeks
