How many floors?
How much floors does your cage have? Mine has 2 and I have around a 7 month syrian hamster called, Fred.
So how much do you guys have and what do you think Is better? I think 2 floors is better because he uses the second floor for sleeping it is where his bed is.
But I want to know what your views are on this do you have 1, 2, 3, 4 etc... floors. Please reply, I'm new ;D Made 2 threads so far. When I work out how to put photos on I'll stick some on showing, Fred.

Re: How many floors?
I converted mine from 3 triangular ones to one big panel one. Hamsters prefer one large floor space over loads of little areas from what I've learnt.

Re: How many floors?
I don't think theres a set answer. Many people have different cages and they all work fine.
I also can't actually count for ours as its partially modular, partially a big open space and partially a levelled area with both shelves and full levels.
Then we have dwarves and the only one who could have levels is in a zoozone without a need for a shelf.
But yeah, the main thing is them having a large total floor space, whether thats through two (I'd say not less than two though) full levels or a big single area is a personal choice though.

Re: How many floors?
This is the type of cage I have for my Syrian. Its an Imac with one extension. ln the bottom I put Carefresh, a Wonderland 8" wheel, a food bowl and a water bottle. On the second floor I put a bowl with dried grass, flowers etc. toys and chews. And on third floor, more chews, an integrated house for him to sleep in filled with shredded toilet paper and a corner toilet. It works well for Dusty. I find it very easy to clean. The only downside is that Dusty chews the ends of the tubes. He is naturally very destructive. I've bought anti gnaw rings for the tubes so hopefully it will work.
