Default Sammy!

This is my first ever hamster Sammy, my lovely boy! He's just enjoying a nut (only way I could keep him still enough to take the picture!)

He's absolutely gorgeous. He looks like a satin.

He looks like a Red-Eyed Cream (REC) Satin to me - a lovely one too - not easy to find

I didn't think he had red eyes. But I can see a bit in the photo, is there such a thing as a 'hint of red'?[/b]

On a Red eyed cream the eyes are actually supposed to be a 'claret red', so if you think how dark a good claret is, that is quite a dark shade. I think his eyes do look a claret red in the photos (even discounting the one where the flash has caught them) and often its easier to see on photos. Our red eyed cream's eyes look black unless you look really carefully too.

I think he is a red eyed cream satin short haired too. He has a lovely rich colour. I'm really jealous of you, as he is absolutely delightful!

He is gorgeous and I would agree a red eyed cream satin. A very handsome chappy indeed.
