I don't know what is going on with ebay at the moment. There is another seller with 2 cages listed and when you read the content it says 'includes hampster'. They can't even spell hamster. One of the cages looks like the tiny little Ferplast cage.

That cage would be about the right size for a woodlouse. The hammy could probably get from one end to the other in three strides It makes the standard hamster sized waterbottle look huge!

Well I've had a mesage back from the original hamster seller ( ). She says he's 10 months old and is handle-able. She says he needs "company" and she doesn't have the time or space for him (bless him). She will sell him without the cage if whoever buys him brings their cage with them to get him.
Someone on here is interested in him, if not I'm going to get him. I'm not actually looking for another hamster right now but this is one I couldn't leave. The other two are too far away for me - anyone in Kent?

Thank God there are people like you guys around. It brings tears to my eyes when I see people auctioning off animals as if they mean nothing. I'm so happy some of you are looking into fetching them and bringing them home- please keep us updated. If only I had more room. I'd drive the 140 odd miles to go to Kent!!

If you can take him, I'd mail her back and offer him a good permanent home with someone knowledgable who cares. She obviously doesnt want him that much, as she wouldnt have put him up for auction in the first place! He was still on when I just looked, if you want me to enquire for you, just say.

He's gone now. I've tried contacting her again using her user name but ebay won't let me
My only hope is that I gave her my email address - perhaps she'll use that to contact me as, you are right, she obviously doesn't want him

She says 'for now she will be keeping him'. You could just ask her to let you know if she does decide she doesn't want him... I suspect she has lost interest in him.
I'm sure some soft-hearted person will take him in
edit - I must have been posting at the same time as you Holly. I think you said you gave her your e-mail details in case the listing was removed.
