The Hamster's prayer
Last night as I was laying in bed, I came up with this, the hamster's version of the Lord's Prayer. Please don't be offended as it is only intended as a bit of fun!

Oh Huge Hamster, who lives above,
Great be your food store,
And warm be your nest.
Grant me the patience to train the two leggeds,
And the strength to endure another mating
With the hamster who lives in cage yonder.
Give me this day, my daily yoghurt drop,

The great exercise wheel of life.

The breeding lines can be omitted for non-breeding hamsters.
I spent New Year talking to Vectis Hams who was keeping an eye on a couple of matings (for fear that the females would turn on the males) and I felt sorry for the males risking their bodies.
So when I thought of the prayer last night, I just had to add them for all those poor beaten up male hamsters out there!
