How many hamsters?
If you had all the money in the world and have as many cages and hamsters as you liked, how many would you have and in what cages?
I think i would have a pair of robos in my homemade bin cage and a pair of winter whites

Re: How many hamsters?
I want robos and winter whites...but I adore Syrians. Iv kept 7 hamsters before now, but I'd be tops with 2. One Syrian and two dwarfs in 2 cages. Big cages with extensions. Cages? I dunno. I'd try bin cages attached to whatever big cage I could find, like the HH. Problem is with me nothing is big enough or good enough. I'm always looking for ways to make things better and bigger. I wouldn't go for Habitrail too small and too long to lean. Lots and lots of toys and treats

Re: How many hamsters?
I'd definitely have a large terrarium-style habitat, something made of a huge IKEA cabinet or similar, for each hamster and pair of hamsters. How many, I'm not sure, but not more than I currently have (7). Up to 7 as full time pets, I'd say. If I had loads of money, I'd likely look into breeding winter whites, though, import some good healthy lines from the U.K. and increase their availability in the eastern U.S.

Re: How many hamsters?
Erin -Space is definitely an issue but will all the money in the world you could extend your house and build a hamster room
I would like to breed robos in the future but not full time. I don't think I could bare to give any the cute little babies
Flame- with all the money in the world you could design and make the perfect cage big enough with loads of space for toys and easy access.
Hamtastic- that's a great idea the idea cabinets look great and are massive

Re: How many hamsters?
If I had all the money in the world I'd build a house for all my pets and hams would have their own room.
I'd have hamsters from the UK and would breed Syrians and WW's. I'd like to have 10 hams all together (No more! I've still got chinnies!)
I'd also hire someone to create self-cleaning cages.

It would defo be a big cage. I'm sick of looking at cages that are too small in petshops.
