Default Uh-oh... he'l regret saying that...

So yesterday me and the OH were talking about things and decided that we actually arent going to move. I then said "So I'll have to put off getting my dwarves then until we move" to which he replied "You could get them here if you want? We've got room"

So its official, I am now on the look for dwarves x100000

I am still not decided which dwarf I want but I think I'm down to robos and WW... I'm thinking of getting two so do either of these do better in pairs as I've read that because of their nature its quite hard to tame robos so maybe they would be better having company from another ham...?!?! With this question, I know that normally people say it doesnt matter, but does either sex get better on in pairs, or it is all down to the breeding?

Finally, I think I will be getting them from a breeder so can anyone recommend some near-ish to London (I have a car so I can travel but didnt want to travel too far incase the hams were uncomfortable...) I would really appreciate it. Also, if I get them from a breeder, is there anything I should look out for regarding heritage etc.... I've only ever brought from pet shops so am a novice at this...

Anyway, thought I'd share the exciting news and ask for some advice as I know you al give great advice

Tuftyfluff is out by Borehamwood if you want WWs. Snickers's Oscar and Camerahamster's Shard are from there. Depending on how far you are from like North West London area it isn't too far. XD

I'm in west London so it's not too far I've just had a check and they are only about half an hour away. If I go for WW, I might even go for Cambells now due to the differing colours, I will prob go to them.

Now I just have to decide which ones I want... So many decisions!!

I can recommend Tuftyfluffs. As Loco said, Oscar is from there. Sue (owner) is lovely too.

She pretty much always has babies, both Campbells and WWs so you could chose while you're there.

I've actually seen Tuftyfluff hams myself as well. They're beautiful lovely little things, very comfortable.

Do you mean you've seen hamsters bred by her, or you've been to her hamstery?

I've never seen so many beautiful hamsters in my life! And the Syrians were the size of Guinea Pigs.

Never go to the hamstery then!

Oscar's litter mates were gorgeous, but I'd already reserved him so I resisted temptation. She showed me the Campbells aswell and they were sweet. I'd never seen a pure Campbells before.

I'm sure if you have tuftyfluff hams they will be fabulous
I'm glad your looking to get a pair, most people are put off nowadays, but I think its best to keep them in pairs when possible. Although theres no real difference between species.

If you can't decide between WW's and robos then campbells might be a good option. As they can be quite hyper like robos, but bigger and easier to handle like WW's. (and of course all the adorable colourations to choose from )

Best of luck in your search x
