We thought you might like to hear how our hams are getting on and see a few pics.
Our new Dwarfs Kipton and Bingley are doing well, and have settled in fine. They have the occasional squabble but haven't hurt each other. They are much better than they were since we gave them lots more tissue bedding and removed all enclosed tubes. They attended their first show today and did very well for babies. We have been told however that Kipton the pearl is in Winter Coat because his fur is very 'fluffy'! We love him still though!
Our Syrians Paws, Red and Sonni are all doing well too. They are just about retired from showing now as they are all getting on a bit and not doing well any more. They are enjoying their life at home though and love their out-time playing on the bed (not together of course)! Paws is his usual self and loves sitting still on your chest and being stroked. Red now has a very long 'skirt' and needs brushing all the time (which thankfully she enjoys) and Sonni is Miss Active as usual, zipping up your sleeve before you can stop her!
Anyway, here are some pics of them (Mainly the Dwarfs). Hope you like them!
Posing Paws
Red's 'Skirt'
Bingley (or 'Binbag' as he now gets called!!! )
Kipton (or Kippers )
RUNNN!!!
'What's that? Over there?!?' (Both hams were fascinated by Bodie, our German Shepherd Dog!)
Two Splats
And another pic of them together
Hope you like the pics and that everyone else's hams are all OK too!

Great photos Pophammy, you are so good at taking pictures. Of course you know I love Paws but your dwarfs are just sooo gorgeous. I love their colours and they have such sweet faces.
Yes, they are excellent photos, each one. You capture the character of each hamster at that moment perfectly ! Always great to hear about your hams Pophammy. Thanks for posting the photos.

It's great to see Pawsy again - and Red is stunning too (her eyes and ears look quite dark - we still have a couple of babies who's ears look very pink and whose fur and skin tone seems very pink as well - including one of the male Satins - am wondering if they could be REC?). K and B are seriously cute

It is possible that you have some Red eyes. here is a pic of Red on the left (REC) with her sister Bubbles (BEC) at 14 days.
It is quite easy to see the difference, but as they get older the red eye's ears tend to darken and their eyes look more black.
Thanks everyone for your comments also!
