Aaaaaaaah!
There's a rescue an hour away from me with a 'black bear' hamster and they are supposedly really sweet...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I'm so excited :3 I'm gonna call today to see if they still have them. I could just die with excitement!

The term "bear" is short for "teddy bear" and that's just another name for syrian - I'm pretty sure. I've never read anything about them being bigger.

On topic: I do agree that Black Syrians are ADORABLE. Princess Evie is another one on here. And Bear. They're both major cuties.

Its just im sure i read somewhere that they were bigger but to be honest i never truly believed that either- like you all say it was either just to promote them or written by someone who didnt have a clue what they were talking about.
