Its just im sure i read somewhere that they were bigger but to be honest i never truly believed that either- like you all say it was either just to promote them or written by someone who didnt have a clue what they were talking about.

I read somewhere when they started to be sold in pet shops they had came from breeders who 'created' black syrians so they were bigger than the normal pet shop ham. Not sure how true that is though
