Re: Quite an unusal cage to say the least....
There certainly has been a lot of effort put in to that cage, I'm not sure I saw a wheel there though? It wasn't really to my taste to be honest which I feel a bit bad about typing as they obviously really care about their hamster

That's wonderful the person did that! Although, I'd have given more width to it myself.

I loved it until I saw the hamster and realised the scale. I'm all for home-made cages, but if you've got the talents to make one, why not make a really great-sized one?

I don't like it to be honest, you can't keep a close eye on the hammie as you no idea where he is..lol.. I like being able to see I f Peanut has been for a drink, wee and just generally watching him..
In that wooden cage there's not really much wide open areas for him. Kinda looks dangerous too..

Re: Quite an unusal cage to say the least....
that cage seems like it has very little floor space (per level i mean), i also did not see a wheel...and it's just not to my tastes. it's obvious the owner cares a lot to have made such a thing, but i think floor space on one huge level would have been better then many levels with little floorspace.

looked fantastic until i saw the hamster lol.... ditto everyone else i would have given much more floorspace instead of making it like a cramped skyscraper :L
