I have made an observation and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing...

I have had 2 female syrians and 1 male syrian.

Is it a coincidence that both the females I have had like to keep their homes all neat and tidy? If I put any food outside of her food bowl, like a treat or something, she straight away picks it up and puts it neatly in its place - the food bowl! She also keeps all her poops in one place and only pee's in a potty! She's amazing!

It is so sweet and I love that she's like that (and so was my other girl before her). However, my boy just drops food all over the place and is generally a bit more messy! Not that I mind, but it just seems really funny that they are so different

Do you think this is a boy/girl thing or just a coincidence?!

button does the "lets put my treats in the food bowl" thing too! its so cute maybe it is a boy girl thing after all

One of my girls will move the food around and put it in the bowl but they other just doesn't care.

my boy syrian empties his bowl streight away - he takes it into his toilet!!!! No matter what I do, he always takes everything there. even his treats! I bet he's got a news-paper there somewhere too. My girls are different - one takes only what she eats and the other one piles the stuff in all the corners she can get to. All of my syrians keep neat piles of poo by their beds.

My male Syrian has three food stashes - his food bowl, under a section of bedding in his hut, and in a corner of the lower level, where he has a "nap nest". If I give him a treat, and he's already full, he'll take it and put it in his food bowl, which is really cute. Then at some point, he'll move food into his hut or nap nest.

He also does the poo piling thing - just outside the entrance to his hut.

My boys are very tidy. Dexter takes his food up to his bed as soon as he's fed and Zeke will just sit in his food bowl and eat what he wants, he never takes anything away to store it.
They both also only pee and poop in their toilet/sand bath.

my boys are very tidy, for me its the four girls that are total slobs lol the boys (all six) are very tidy especially mr nibbles

yes my female syrian is very tidy and does the food bowl thing too, she almost rushes to put food in it.

My boys on the other hand are not so tidy....

Marley has food either in his bowl or in a corner of his bedroom never imbetween.
