Re: Outside Of The Forum...
I try to talk about my hamsters, but don't often succeed lol. My colleague showed an interest yday but then I realised he wasn't listening to my 2 sentences when he suggested I try breeding them. 2 girls. lol.

Re: Outside Of The Forum...
Besides the odd reference, no. I have one other hamster-loving friend, she's the only IRL person I talk to about the hammies really.

Re: Outside Of The Forum...
I talk about them at least twice a week to my colleagues, whether they like it / are listening at all or not! Luckely they don't seem to mind and sometimes gladly come and take a look at cute pictures I spam them with.
However, sometimes enough is enough and they turn on only half an ear, but that is mostly because I talk a lot throughout the day...

Re: Outside Of The Forum...
I feel lucky, that all my friends love my hams, and they all seem to have different favorites. They seem to love hearing about what they've been up to, and if there are any health problems always want to know how they're doing. I do tend to give at least one person a day a little update

Re: Outside Of The Forum...
No outside the forum I dont really speak to anyone about them, apart from my parents. My friends are not really very interested in them and think I am a bit of a weirdo lol!
I have a slideshow of them as my sceen saver at work and someone asked me about them, as his daughter has 2 chinese hammies that were fighting so had to be seperated and the wheel was driving them mad, so i was happy to suggest alternatives, and give out some advice.

Re: Outside Of The Forum...
I'm the same as Hope, It's only here that people understand the love I have for my hammies, My partner loves them too so our conversations are about them mostly..
