Ideas...
on keeping hamster nails trim? My robo's seem to have quite long nails and cutting them is just impossible. They have all sorts of wooden toys but doesn't seem to be working

Re: Ideas...
I use rocks and wooden toys, she also has a wooden wheel which helps I only trim claws when I have a second person around, so I can concentrate on trimming while another holds the hammy

Ooh, like the idea of rocks. And is the wooden wheel noisy? I have them in my rooms so it has to be a quiet wheel.
I can't keep the robos still for a second, they are just soo tiny! x

The Karlie Wonderland Bogie Wheel is 100% silent, I keep the cage in my bedroom so silence is a must

Re: Ideas...
Terracota pots? like the flatter ones, would be good for putting sand in, when they dig it will help wear down their nails...

Is the smallest size 15cm? I'm afraid the wood would be too heavy for the robos to get it moving

Re: Ideas...
I have two large rocks in Rubys cage, she likes to climb on them and I think it is keeping her nails a good length too! Just pick some up next time you see some and disinfect them good

Re: Ideas...
The wood is incredibly light, and isn't as heavy duty as it looks xD You can see the sun shining through the wood The robos will be delighted

Re: Ideas...
my robos have the 20cm karlie ones and move them fine hun
a bit of terracotta or a large flat rock under the water bottle helps keep their nails down well
