New Bedding
Hah! Well it's not properly new bedding. I'm sure some of you know of my adoration of Carefresh, I truly love it. I've been in touch with them recently to ask if they will be bringing the snazzy colours out in the UK and they said yes. This weekend my friend took me to P@H (whenever someone offers me a day out, it's always P@H if I'm not well enough to go further!) and LO! I found it. I got the Confetti colour. I know it's silly, but I love how bright and cheery it is. Chewy's cage takes up a bunch of space in the front room and it's nice for me (and potential housemates.. a whole other thread) if it looks quite fun.
Here is a shot of him after he had been digging. I have experimented with putting a WHOLE bag in, and piling it up in one corner, and burying his food in it, to see if he keeps a bit more active. He seems to be loving it thus far. He's been in and out of the pile all night. Every time I move move a bit his head pops out to nosey at me . He has asked to come out less this evening than usual. I'm sure he'll be normal tomorrow and I might have to take some bedding back out, but it's a bit of a fun change
This picture makes me chuckle. He looks like he is sat in the detrius of a party, after lots of party poppers have been let off

Re: New Bedding
That looks really good! I'd love to buy some if it wasn't so expensive.

Re: New Bedding
The colours are pretty, but it is so expensive and it only ends up in the bin! Might just have to buy some to use for their nests or something though, as it is really pretty

Re: New Bedding
That looks cool!
I'm going to try to convince mum to take me to P@H, it would be nice in Ruby's nest

Re: New Bedding
Yeah, I can't deny it was a bit overpriced. With a normal size bag of carefresh, I make 3/4 a bag do his cage, so he has about an inch -2 inches all over. But this week I wanted to see how he was with digging, so I used a whole bag, so it was about £6/7! Granted, it lasts about 2 weeks if I remove his peepees on a daily basis, but goodness. I hope he doesn't get used to it.
Mind, the problem is I get used to it and like it! x
