Cage meshing question??

Going to be meshing the zoozone 1 and i was wondering, you know the mesh would you place the mesh over the door/grill or under it... if you know what i mean. I was thinking if you put it under and but what if a cable tie came un done your hamsters might get hurt or is that just me?

i put it over so if it comes loose (they could chew the ties) it wont collapse on the hamsters ;D also it seemed easiest to do
