You going to start volunteering with them then?
Yes i need to fill out a form and wait until a health and saftey course comes up and then i can come and go when ever i want to help out. My hubby is doing it as well which will be nice

He is a really nice hammy He is now in his cage and ran about for ages. He went in the wheel and sat there then realised it moved and started running in it. He also went in his sand bath and was really excited. He rolled in it but seems to get stuck on his back, he found it a bit hard to roll back on to his legs but i think thats just beacuse he is not use to doing it. He packed his pouch really quickly and love his millet spray and treat stick.

Here are some pics

He is Gorgeous .

Love his Tank what size is it. It looks just right . I must admit to looking at the RSPCA animals that are up for adoption often. I have seen Goose on there for like you say must be 6 months or more so its really good to see the home he has gone to.

I too in the future would like to adopt dwarf hamsters from the RSPCA but I have my home full for now & have plans for some pure dwarfy's . But I can't ever see myself with out at least one dwarf hammy so in the future I hope I can do the saem as you

He looks very happy,
the colour fade could be due to the platinum gene which I think causes their colour to dilute over time? not sure though..
Mine get stuck on their back in their baths too, so I wouldn't worry >.<
I'm so glad he's a happy little thing, can't believe nobody adopted him sooner

I think he is happy he loves his food He has kept it in his pouch since we put him in his cage. I hope it settles in well and feels confident to store his food. Sookie done this when we first bought her home.

I didnt realise there colour can fade. In the photo on the RSPCA website he looked like he had patches of cream or light brown on him. Will he get the colour back or stay white now?

I couldnt believe he had been there for so long. No one had looked at him since they had him. When i asked at the front desk one of the ladys said, sorry we dont have any hamsters then someone said yes we do Poor thing, no one knew he was there. Hubby loves him, he took over when we got home and set up his tank and then sat and watched him But he has said NO MORE HAMSTERS lol
