Well we had 'Daisy' out last night, it was a job to get hold of her in the cage but once out was quite relaxed and had a good run around on our bed and a good brush ..... and a good poop! We tried 2 or 3 times to see what we could see, but we could see nothing! It is so furry down there it's impossible to tell and she hates being held up so is very wriggly, yet still she doesn't bite, what a sweetie! We though we saw something but then changed our minds! Oh well, I don't suppose it really matters, we love 'it' no matter what sex, it just makes it difficult to talk about her/him. Maybe we should stick with saying him as that is what seems to be the way everyone is leaning, and then wait for Summer for confirmation! Short haired Syrians and dwarfs are so much easier to sex!!
Davey and Dale are good names. Davey reminds me of one of the Monkeys - I'm now showing my age! - and Dale reminds me of the chipmonks, Chip 'n' Dale! It takes me ages to come up with the right name for any of my animals, that's been 4 dogs, 4 cats, 10 hamsters and 16 budgies all just with-in the past 8yrs!! I shall think some more.
