I've been a BAD girl!

I went to the pet shop today to get some bits and bobs for a rabbit I am going to foster for the RSPCA branch (they are being dumped left, right and centre at the moment

) picked up the bits and went to the till, saw a beautiful hamster and bought her too

She is a 12 week old Syrian, black with a white band and is now called Tessie. Photos will follow soon

Aw Andrea, thats so nice of you to help the wee rabbits. Its such a shame to hear that about them.. Even though i'm allergic to them and cant go near them, they are still very cute and its sad to hear that people will be so cruel to them.

Tessie sounds gorgeous, please post us some pics soon!

I was in PAH yesterday and if my partner had been with me, i soooo would've bought a syrian, it had gorgeous colouring

I really want to try and find some room in my house and get one, either that or extend the one i already have for Sweet and Sour.

Welcome to the new addition! Tessie sounds lovely, being black banded! I`ve seen mice like this and they are gorgeous! No will power then?!!!

Hope you manage to get a gabber rex Andrea. Tessie would love that!

cant wait for some pictures! I went to pah the other day and there was a very cute winter white hammie........I would of got it if my mum let me!!!

I think Tessie will be up for a photo shoot this evening

She is pretty tame already, has happily taken food from me and has explored my hand on a few occasions. She is a real sweetheart

Just need to sort her out a better house. She is in a Rody Savic which is great for a dwarf I think but not a Syrian so I will be sorting out new accomodation today

its not the that I overlook rescue or anything, I would love to get some pets from one, but there isnt one where I live, there is only a cat one and a wildlife one............
