Finally made a decision

Hi, some of you may have read my post a while ago about us getting another hamster since Poppet left us. Well me and my Bf had a proper chat over it and have decided to just stick with our two boys. The main reason is that my shifts have changed in work so it means i'm more tired in the evenings and the boys only get about half an hour each and i don't want their care to be compromised by the tamning of a new hamster.. when i work lates its fine as i finish at 10.00 in the night so am wired till about 2 in the morning ( ideal time for hammies) but i'm earlies for 2 weeks of the mnth 8-5.30 I am sad as i was looking forward to another hammy but i have to agree with my Bf it just wouldn't be fair.. The good news is that now i have an excuse to treat my boys loads more..."sigh" anyways i have some piccies to cheer this post up...

you have to do what is right and appears to be the best for you and thinking realistically. i did this when re-homing speckles she had another hamster too i just couldnt realistically with my work and home life commit to having 3 hamsters so had to think what is best for me and the hamsters in my care.

Its hard i know, i've bitten my lip and really promised myself that 4 hamsters is it now!
Thats a really hard thing for a teenager to do, but i know its important to not overload myself right now

I know your boys are spolit already, i look forward to hearing of their palaces, dinner parties, royal carriages and fair maidens in future

Its Peanuts birthday on Halloween....he's old enough for a stripper now...!!!

seriously tho any ideas on what we can do for him? cake ? etc

very mature of you FM as your thinking realistically and times will change so although you have time now you wont have as much as schooling gets busier schedule (sorry if this comes across wrong saying ''mature''

womblehands, you could try my nutty surprise?
I never actually got round to doing it for porridge:
Baby food/porridge or milky weetabix
mixed in with millet seeds then a selection of nuts on top (e.g.walnuts, brazil nuts, peanuts etc.)

Can be spread on top of a cupcake for a birthday photo shoot

A very wise decsicion! i think if i get a pair of WW they would be my last for a while. like fm said, got to concentrate on school!

You know i think you made the right decisions, its best to be just able to give the maximum, even if that means less hamsters than you would love to have
