Posting threads some members may not wish to read

Hi Stellanova -as Amy has mentioned, hopefully all members would know what to expect in a memorial thread. If there was particularly upsetting information, then a warning in the title would be appropriate.

I am guessing this "warning" issue was addressed over one or two threads posted. Does anybody have a link to them. As I am a huge animal activist and have no problem dealing with these issues as I have had to do projects on such abuse in the past. Just curious as to what they are about. thanks

It got removed I think Cheeky cheeks, but I think it was a news article about a boy that abused a hamster. We went though a spate of people posting upsetting videos that they had found on you tube . . . swimming hamsters was one of them I seem to remember.

Oh yea I think i've seen that youtube video. Where the girl kept putting her dwarf hamsters in her pool.

So that everyone can have a choice about whether they wish to read a topic once posted, if you feel that your topic falls into any of these catagories or is, in any other way, something you feel people may not wish to read then you should place the word *WARNING* in capital letters before your title.

I disagree with this. Death is part of life and inevitable, so how is it disturbing? I think it is helpful for people to post on pyo etc so others know what to look for and when it might happen. It could help to save lives.
