Default Veggies

What sorts of fruit and veg are and aren't safe for a syrian? At the moment i'm giving him a little tiny bit every day but playing it safe with what i give him. He's quite small for his age so i don't want to give him too much and upset his tummy. Can you give me some ideas please?

Hi Rach, if you look at the Wiki section on the left, there is a nice long list of 'safe' foods for hammies. I have found it invaluable! I love it when I find something new for them to try and they really enjoy it

Thanks. They can eat a lot more than I thought they could.

It says only to give them veg 2 or 3 times a week, am i wrong to give him a tiny bit every day?

I wouldn't give them everyday, fruit is very sugary and both veg and fruit can easily upset tummies!
3 times a week is good enough
