Default Hamster ice-cream

Today was very hot and my house gets very very hot, all the hamster cages were very warm, so I got a few of my hamsters ingrediants together and made 'hamster' ice-cream but of course most pets can eat it.

I got a glass ramekin

3 teaspoon fulls of yeo valley natural yoghurt
poured on some whiskas cat milk to make it runny
2 teaspoons of porridge oats
2 strawberries chopped into small hamster sized bites

You could use any fruit, but I thought strawberries were very summery and turned the ice cream pink.

Mix it all together, and freeze it. Although I gave them a small bit unfrozen, and they all got filthy eating it, but they really enjoyed it. They did of course have fun licking it off each other which was funny to watch.

When you feed it to them just give them enough so it wont go off in the day, and so they will eat it all, not sure what its like frozen as I havent checked it yet, it may be a bit hard so just whack it in the mic for a few secs. You should know how much your hamster will eat. But I gave mine a teaspoonfull as there is 11 hamsters in one of my cages. I didnt give it to the males as they wont even eat veg if I give it to them.

Sounds like a really good idea!
