Hamster Meatloaf!
I was searching for hamster recipes today and found this recipe at Hamsterific.
Hamster Meatloaf - Source Hamsterific.com/Nutrition
Mix together: - Bread soaked in soy, low fat or fat free milk
- 1 Teaspoon plain oats
- 1 Teaspoon soy, low fat or fat free milk
- 1 Teaspoon high quality puppy food (canned)
- Assorted fresh vegetables (shredded)
- Vitamin supplement drops added to mixture
Mix ingredients until they are about the consistency of apple sauce. Serve at room temperature.
*IMPORTANT: Remove any uneaten Hamster Meatloaf after an hour!*
I envision an itty bitty "meatloaf", I just might have to try this, I'll be sure to take a picture! This is a treat and should NOT be fed everyday.
Maybe you have tried this recipe? Let me know if your hamsters liked it.

LOL..I guess its a US thing, its usually made with ground beef and a few other ingredients and molded into a loaf shape and baked in the oven...

Re: Hamster Meatloaf!
Yeah some people put way to many ingredients in their meatloaf, like celery, carrots, etc...I just make it with beef and seasonings, when its done baking you slice it and it looks like a rectangle shaped hamburger, of course it tastes different than a burger because its baked, but its good, we don't eat it very often...
Anyway I envision a little dwarf size meatloaf for the hamsters when I read this recipe..

Re: Hamster Meatloaf!
Meatloaf sounds good, but JJ is quite a fussy eater.
