thats brill work
Much better organized than mine!
i love how colourful the homemade mixes are
I think i will be looking for a new ingredient or two to add to mine, maybe another hamster food to add a bit more interest?
You think that'd be a good idea?

Thank you Mel! The hamsters really seem to like the variety in this new mix. I was looking at ingredients last night in the store and was wondering about adding a few other ingredients too.

I think I will continue to mix half Hazel hamster and half Ecotrition just for the variety, they both have a few different ingredients.

You add pasta too? What kind? and do you cook it?

i don't add pasta but now you've mentioned it that may be the new ingredient i'll add
Personally i'd have it uncooked since you will be storing it for a bit and it might go funny if its cooked (i think)
Any pasta is fine, but wholemeal pasta is better as its healthier!

I found some more ingredients that will have added benefits, how about organic flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds and quinoa..

and what about organic couscous..instead of normal pasta..
I found this on Wikipedia:
"Couscous is among the healthiest grain-based products. It has a glycemic load per gram 25% below that of pasta. It has a superior vitamin profile to pasta, containing twice as much riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, and folate, and containing four times as much thiamin and pantothenic acid."
