Sunflower Seeds ?

I went to my flower shop a couple of days ago and got sunflower seeds i have some left over . Would they be ok to give to my syrian hamster when i get it . I d like to give it to the hammy for uses of taming

The Sunflower seeds i purchased were named Giant Single

Sunflower seeds are fine for hams just one or two at a time though.

Yes, they are fine, but only as a treat, they have lots of oil and they are fattening
