A quick question and I figure this thread is as good as any to make it. Can I leave a whole dentastix in my hamster's cage? I'm assuming she'll chew it over time. Or would this encourage her eating it too much? I've left one in there for two weeks now and there's still a lot of it remaining but I wasn't sure if I was doing right.

dentastiks are fine, what size have you got (small, medium, large?) I would probably only put about half in as otherwise they don't eat as much normal food!

I made the mistake of leaving a honey nut stick in for 2 days (i forgot it was there)
To find just an empty stick I was wondering why he hadn't eaten all his food like normal LOL

I usually put in a third of a dentastix in with my two as even that doesn't all get eaten.
