Default A Better Mix?

So I've made a better mix for my four RDs, I hope. I took some ideas off Fluffymunchkins and sorta made it my own. At the minuet I've got just an ordinary hammie mix that I've added things to, but that's only till I get some proper Dwarf mix for them.

So the ingredients are:
Basic Hammie mix with most of the squished peas, those squished yella things and the dried sweetcorn taken out.
Puffed rice ( not anything like ricecrispies, it's plain, organic)
Dried pasta shapes
Dried red lentals
Trill seed
A little bit of garden bird seed
Peanuts
Cat biscuits

And here's a photo...

I hope it's alright? 'Cause they're lovin' it : )

yep thats really good
You don't have to take the peas or corn out though, that was a misunderstanding on my behalf on the other thread

looks from that a little high in peanuts but could be they just all came to the top, still not too much of a problem if they are still young! but keep an eye on should they get a bit too porky

I'm glad it's approoved of : )
I'm a bit paranoid about giving them anything with sugar in... despite very naughtily giving them each a sliver of carrot last night. So I got a bit obsessed with getting all the peas out. I smashed them all up and gave them to the garden birds though, so no waste.
Yeah, the peanuts are all on top there 'cause I was trying to stir it so everyone could see the seeds I'd put in and it pushed all the big stuff up to the top as well. They love peanuts, but I know to keep an eye out with them.

I've been giving them a dandelion flower to share every now and then too, is that OK? It's really funny to watch them eat the little bits 'cause they hold it and try to eat it while the petals tickle their faces X ) My rats love all parts of dandelions, but I was worried about giving the hams poorly tums, so I've just been giving a flower to them.

The mix looks fab BD! I want to eat it, it looks so good!! lol!

Not too sure about dandelion, it is on the wiki as being ok, the main think is to make sure that where you get them from has not been sprayed with any chemicals.

They're from my jungle of a garden! It's full of 'em. You'd think I was breeding them or something X )

You could start a side line selling organic dandelions for hammys!

You think people would be willing to buy dandelions? : ) I don't think I have enough for everyone! Plus they're all turning to 'faeries' now... not so nice. But I do have two Elderflower trees! X )
