meganm Newborn Pup Join Date: Jan 2024 Posts: 11	Dried bugs? How many? I use 50/50 Higgins Sunburst and Mazuri Mouse/Rat, but I've added dried mealworms and crickets for variety and more protein for my young Syrian (~9 weeks old). I saw someone online say hammies should get roughly 2 bugs a week, and since dried bugs have less nutrition, that would be about 1 dried bug a day. Anyone have thoughts on this amount? How do you supplement protein and how often?
