Default Vitamin c Supplement

My hamster is losing a lot of hair suddenly. There is no infection but deficiency of vitamin c according to the vet. I would prefer to give him natural stuff so as to avoid putting artificial sugar contained syrup in his diet. What can I give him instead to help with this deficiency as citrus fruits can't be given?

Default Re: Vitamin c Supplement

From a quick web search: "Broccoli and most fruit provide vitamin C."
I'm afraid I am not sure what fruits and veg are available to you (probably more than what's available to me in the UK XD), but you can check the 'safe foods' list available here, or ask your vet what they would recommend.

Hope your hammy feels better soon.
