lost mealworm
hi! i was giving my syrian a live mealworm but it fell into the bedding and disappeared before i could catch it. i have thick bedding so it could be anywhere...
should i be worried?

If it feeds on your hamsters food it could mature in to an adult beetle and if it finds a mate you could have a problem with them in food stores etc. I'd try and find it.
I would only give live if the hamster was somewhere this couldn't happen or stick to dried ones. Live ones can bite and you are better taking the head off them before feeding.
