Default Is this safe for hamsters?

I saw this forage mix and thought it sounded nice. It has nettle, dandelion, ribwort and red clover.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Excel-FP100...ps%2C78&sr=8-1

It says on the wiki page here ragwort is not safe for hamsters. I will not try it.

Luscious Leaves would be safe actually. Ribwort and ragwort are two different plants - ribwort being in the plantain family(which is not related to the plantain fruit).

The Hay Experts have some nice forage options from their own brand also so that's another option to look into. Some Rosewood products are good as well, but they're not always safe in terms of ingredients so you do have to check to be sure. It never hurts to double check ingredients with any brand though!

Just to add regarding Rosewood. I empty the bag onto a tray and look through it. I had a forage mix before that had very thorny stalks in it but it is part of the mix and wasn't a bad batch.

The food mix seems to only contain plants, which isn’t a good diet for hamsters. I reccomend you don’t make this your hamster’s primary diet, since a plant-based diet dosen’t have enough protein.
