Default would dried rose hip be okay as a treat?

Hey HC!
I just got carried over during a little shopping spree and got some treats for Cupcake (most of them things she's had before) but I've never given her rose-hip and I got some now. I was just wondering though as I've never seen any talk on them (at least not since I've been here).
Would they be safe for a syrian hamster? they were in the small animal section, but then again a lot of things are in the small animal section that I wouldn't give to my hammie so...yeah.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? They weren't very expensive so worst case I'll either throw them away or leave them outside for the squirrels as I've seen squirrel eating rose-hips before.
Thank you!

they're completely safe and healthy, but hamsters don't really like it that much.
