Exclamation is 110gm healthy for a male syrian?

ok so i was just weighing my hamsters and all was well until i got to my male syrian bagel, (if you've heard me call him 'her' in other posts its because p@h sexed him wrong) he weighed in only at 110gm, ik hamster weights can vary a lot and he is still kind of young (got him in mid june while he was still young enough to be with other syrians) but this worried me a bit, can someone tell me if this is healthy or not? if so what should i do to help him gain weight?

thanks

It does sound a bit low but it depends on how old he is - keep weighing him weekly. What diet is he having? They need a lot of protein in the first year when they're growing, so a hamster mix should have 18 to 20% protein.

right now he's eating
burgess hamster food (mostly this)
natures touch
sunflower seeds
a few meal worms
some plain oats
and some rosewood treats
ik its not ideal but theres not a whole lot of options where i am, in a few days im gonna go to p@h and get some harry's hamster food and im gonna start to move all my hamsters on to that

The Burgess hamster mouse and gerbil isn't the best diet and only has 15% protein. So yes switching to Harry Hamster would be much better. You can get it online

This is for two packs

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pack-Suprem...8891697&sr=8-4

I don't know what Nature's touch is. A good basic muesli with the protein levels daily should help.

When you do switch foods though you need to do it gradually over a couple of weeks so their digestive system adapts without upset. So maybe add a bit of the new food for the first couple of nights, then a bit more for a couple of nights, then about 1/3 2/3 mix for 2 or 3 nights, then 50/50 for a couple of nights, then 75/25 for a couple of nights then switch.
