Frozen veg
I have a feeling that this is a daft question but ... is it ok to feed hamsters defrosted frozen vegetables? I’m thinking of common veg like broccoli, cauliflower, peas and carrots etc.

Re: Frozen veg
As long as there isn't any sort of seasoning, onion, etc added it'll be fine - you want to aim for the ones that are just the veg and nothing else.

Re: Frozen veg
Sorry if this sounds likes a silly question also, but can you freeze fresh vegetables or best just to buy them already frozen? I didn't know you could also feed them frozen veg!

Re: Frozen veg
Most veg needs to be blanched first before being frozen but yes, I often free my own veg, it's all the same

Re: Frozen veg
As everyone else has said, yes! I do this, it's a great way to always have veggies on hand for my hamster. You don't have to worry about things spoiling, and it's often a cheaper option too!
