Exclamation Selective eating.

For a while now, I have been scatter feeding my syrian hamster, and I noticed that he is selective eating. He tends to avoid certain parts of the food.
Is there any way I could prevent him doing this? Should I put food in a bowl and wait for him to take it all before refilling?
Any advice would be appreciated!

All our hamsters are like that but i don't worry about it because i would never ever eat fish or tomatoes.
I think like humans they have their likes and dislikes.

I wouldn't worry a great deal unless your hamster is choosing not to eat a large percentage of his mix. Like Ria says, we all have things that we're not as keen on and that we won't eat and hamsters are the same.

How often do you give your hamster more food? Sometimes if they're a little bit fussy, it can be beneficial to only give them new food every 2-3 days so that they have the opportunity to eat more of their mix.
