Personally I wouldn't use bulk corn like that, and feed grade corn is always going to be somewhat risky. Go for a decent human grade corn instead - it'll be stored to higher standards and you won't have as much worrying to do over potential molds and such that would be very harmful.

Human grade corn tends to be fairly affordable and on the positive side you won't have such an extremely high chance of food waste either(as large amounts of corn will inevitably go off and be unusable).
