Storing food in his toilet!!!

I have a little triangular toilet/potty with sawdust in it in Jesters cage. He wee's there but then takes loads of his goodies/treats/food and places it in a pile on top Is this normal behaviour? It seems rather odd he would store his food where he wee's

Totally normal behaviour - Yuk!.

yh hams are weird! fortunately mine don't but a lot of peoples do. just be sure to take some of the old food out regularly

Yes my little Mo has just taken to this recently...infact, she's swapped it all around. Now using sandbath as a toilet and then a bath..and using her potty as a food store and a place to put her poos. Strange animals!

Good to know it's normal behaviour I thought it was rather odd!!!!! He puts egg biscuits, grapes, mango, strawberries, yoghurt drops well everything he can hoard there really

Yep, my little dude does that sometimes. I take the stored food away when I clean up the wee, to try and suggest that if he wees on it, then it will disappear! It does seem to work cos he will then either wee in a different place, or store his food somewhere else.

yea my little boy does that! it is rather yuky but he seems to like!
