Default UK hamter food

Hi, I have been planning on getting a syrian hamster for around 4 months now and hope to get one after lock down has ended. I was planning on using a Higgins sunburst and the mazuri pellet mix but I can not find it anywhere online so I was wondering what is the best food to get you hamster in the UK.

Hi and welcome to HC!

Harry Hamster is a good basic mix for a Syrian hamster. That's what our Syrian eats plus lots of other foods.

I agree with Ria, Harry hamster mix is a pretty decent hamster mix, especially for the price.
I think the higgins sunburst and mazuri pellet mix is what is/was recommended in places like the USA because they can't get a good all round hamster mix like harry hamster.
