Re: Let them eat cake?
Awwww thankyou, that's so sweet! Well, Jam stuffed all his piece of cake straight away, I thought he probably would, as he's just as fast when he gets hold of a yoghurt drop. A really sweet toothed little hammie that one
The Cloud wasn't in the least bit interested, I kept calling him and saying yumyum which he knows means something to eat, he'd come over, sniff the cake, sniff all round my hand, look perplexed, then wander off. Lol The Cloud again demonstartes his oddness!
He got an extra yoghurt drop for his b'day treat instead as he loves them

Re: Let them eat cake?
lol sometimes they can just decide to be odd
Yogurt drops do always seem to be a keen favourite! Peggy is too small to stuff the whole one in her mouth though so she has to eat a bit first.
Glad they enjoyed their birthday treat.

Re: Let them eat cake?
Pets at home do some by Woodlands called Nature's Tear Drops (how romantic!), they come in different flavours, yoghurt, wild berries, honey and vegetable. I'm a big fan of the Woodlands stuff, especially the dried beetroot and parsnip bits.

Re: Let them eat cake?
yeah probably, i tried the beetroot and parsnip - they taste just like the veggie crisps you can buy but obv without all the salt. if sir alan sees me tasting his yoghurt drops he'll come and give me a telling off so i'd best make sure he doesn't notice....

Re: Let them eat cake?
Indy (my lil fussy strange man) loves milk drops and hates the chocolate ones They do look yummy tho lol
Up until recently i didnt really give my hammies treats other than carrot, dried banana, raisens, choc & milk drops n peanuts but i let them have some chicken and by god they loved it!
I saw the pancake thing something..wish id've known!
Sorry to destract but as my Indy has just reached the 1 year mark should i start incorporating anything extra into his diet? he has always been quite lazy but anything to help him be with me longer and help him stay all healthy would be ace.
Ps. Happy belated hammy birthday ^_^
