Fresh Pumpkin Seeds
Okay, since it was the holiday season, I decided to pick up a few pumpkins for baking. And... there were TONS of seeds! What a bonus!
I know that Kilian has pumpkin seeds in his food mix, so I was wondering if any one knows how to prepare them for safe hamster consumption. Do you have to roast/ bake or cook them? Or should they just be given after they have fully dried?
I definitely know he will be super excited to get some, but I want to make sure that I made them correctly first.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Fresh Pumpkin Seeds
You don't need to cook them at all, just clean them up a bit to remove the fibrous stuff that's around & stuck to them as if you keep them that could go mouldy & is a bit sticky then you can feed them just as they are no need to peel them either.

Re: Fresh Pumpkin Seeds
Okay! Thanks so much! I give Mr. Kili some today, and he absolutely loved them! He has some that comes in his normal mix, but fresh must be tastier!
He sucked those up like he was a mini vacuum. ^~·~^
