Making your own biscuits is definitely a good idea,especially since it means you know every single ingredient that is in them.I've been trying to think for a while now about alternatives to regular wheat-based flours that would be dog-friendly,but what does come to mind would be some sort of coconut based flour(not ideal for diabetes prone hamsters of course)or oat,rice,quinoa,or maybe barley(if the second two are even possible)based flour as oats and rice tend not to cause any reaction(allergic reactions are more often than not so subtle most owners don't even realize what they are)in most dogs.
