Greenies or Whimzees?
Which dog treats are better for hamsters? Greenies or Whimzees? Or should I get both?

Re: Greenies or Whimzees?
Whimzees would probably be my first choice as I've heard that the ingredients are slightly better but if you can't get Whimzees, then Greenies should be okay and plenty of people have given them to their hamsters before without problems.

Oh, ok. Which chew would last longer?

Re: Greenies or Whimzees?
Whimzees are harder so tend to last longer, I think they're preferable to greenies although my Chineseys don't agree with me so I use both!

Re: Greenies or Whimzees?
Whimzees are far superior to Greenies.Greenies are loaded with unnecessary ingredients and contain gelatin(boiled bones).Greenies are also known to cause digestive problems in dogs,so that is worth considering as well.Honestly the similarities end at dental chew,as they're extremely different and Greenies could never compare in terms of quality.

Re: Greenies or Whimzees?
I am a true believer that Whimzees are the best option as far as a healthy treat that definitely helps to wear down their continually growing teeth. My Syrian Eros absolutely ADORES his Whimzee alligators!

Re: Greenies or Whimzees?
Whimzees and Greenies are both good. Whimzees are slightly harder so will last a bit longer and the ingredients are slightly better but if they are an occasional treat, it won't matter too much anyway. I feed Greenies because Whimzees are much harder to find, in my area, and I don't want to buy a massive bag of 20!

I buy both - they prefer Greenies but I prefer them to have Whimzees!

Re: Greenies or Whimzees?
I also buy both, Greenies are expensive but not sure about the cost of Whimzees, think Greenies are a little pricier
Just called the pet store & the girl said that Whimzees are vegetable based, where Greenies are not.
