Giving Pumpkin seeds?

So Thanksgiving and Halloween are right around the corner in October and every grocery store I've been too has shelves overflowing with pumpkins. I bought a relatively small one for some soup we'll be making for Thanksgiving, but the seeds I didn't want to waste. There are pumpkin seeds in his mix, and he enjoys them. The seeds I have are washed and dried, free of any pumpkin flesh but raw. Do I need to roast them to feed him? Or can I just give him raw? I've been hoping this will help with taming him, so how often can I give it to him?

Just feed them raw don't cook them.
You could give a few a week as a treat, they are really healthy but high in fat so not too many!
